The Takoma Park Police Department Annual National Night Out
National Night Out, celebrated by police departments across the nation, is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). The Takoma Park Police Department will be hosting its own community event in celebration of this campaign. The department’s goal is to heighten safety and crime prevention awareness; to support locally-based businesses, groups, and organizations; and to strengthen relationships among community members and between the community and local police department... All while having fun!
For over a decade, the Takoma Park Police Department has been hosting an annual National Night Out event for the community it serves. Participation from residents and community members grows every year. It is always the department's goal to surpass the number of participants from previous years, so come out (bring your whole family and invite all your friends!) and enjoy the festivities!
